1860's Stereoview of Coral


Except the two pictures are not identical. Aren't they supposed to be?

Slight variation is what creates the 3-D effect.

They still use stereoviews in some scientific publications to show protein structure - back in the early years of grad school they taught us all how to cross our eyes to see the structures in 3D. The coral looks pretty nice.
