Eugene Omar Goldbeck (1891-1986), San Antonio photographer was master of both the panoramic photograph and the “Living” symbol photographs made up of thousands of people, usually military, forming an insignia or flag.

Vintage Photos of TV Shows on Air






You see these every once and a while and usually they are shots of historic moments...Kennedy's inauguration or funeral, the Moon landing, etc.

What gets me is when you find the more random shots of everyday shows. I particularly like the shot of the disgruntled TV spaceman in front of the little boy!

Rare Daguerreotype of a Sick Child


I've seen many post mortem images of children from the 19th century, but this is the first time I've seen one of a sick child. Incredibly haunting and poetic.
