Joey. I could have sworn I saw this piece in the past few years, unpainted, with a dark brown patina.

Wow, really? That is too weird. If that's the case, I wonder why someone would have painted it? By the looks of it, I thought that the overpainting was more like 1950's, a shame, but still a nice piece.

Interesting. Paint is worth more than no paint, but if it's fake, it ain't worth nuttin'. However, for that creamy white color, it might be a chance worth taking. I love that color...I remember once when I first entered Calvin Klein's new store on Madison Avenue some 20 years ago, a friend said "Calvin Klein uses 50 shades of white, and they all look good." They were all shades of this white too. If Mike says he saw it, he saw it.
