Thanks for the kind words! There's so much great stuff out there that's available on eBay or with dealers for a short while and then go back into private collections never to be seen again. I started doing this blog as sort of a visual archive of some of this stuff. I'm glad I've found some people who really appreciate it.

Keep following!

Thanks,

Joey.

I think the last two I've seen have been in the $500 - $700 range. It all depends on condition too obviously.

Ok guys, The real value of the small 12v compressor is in US$ : From 1500 to 3000 $ depending of the condition , and i mean is it is repainted the value comes down to 200 or 250$ not more. In his original condition (including the tube in the mouth , without any rust and still in working condition would worth up to 3000$ US$ .

They had one on american restoration.... They said its worth 1500 un restored and anywhere from 4500 to 5000 restored.... I think they do a good job, but from the pics you have of the original, the resto they did was not very accurate.

@Luke,

Yeah, I was really disappointed by the job they did on American Restoration. It's a philosophical argument on original patina vs. complete restoration. I prefer original patina, but there's something to be said about at least some restoration.

I just finished watching the show myself . I think they ruined the overall value of the compressor when they " restored " it.

The customer was happy though!

If you are still looking for a countertop tyre compressor, a Mr Bibendum Michelin Man 1920's, then my father in law is selling his at auction on 19th October and you can bid over the internet. If this link doesn't work you can find it on busby.co.uk and Lot 8 of the car sale. Thanks Caroline

I actually have the Michelin man from the compressor, unfortunately I don't have the compressor itself. Still a interesting piece, I've had a lot of people tried to buy it off of me over the years.
