Hi
Love the train whistle.
Can I just say that my heart was broken this weekend when a large primitive carving of "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" by Seurat was stolen from my car?
I don't know why these things give me such pleasure, but they do.
Anyway, your blog is a comfort.
Thanks
Laurel S

Oh man Laurel, I'm so sorry to hear about the theft. That just sucks! If I ever see something like that for sale anywhere, I will def. ping you to let you know.

I know exactly what you mean by these things bringing you comfort. I feel the same way. I guess I like the fact that you have a connection not only to another time, but also to the artists that often times must have spent hours and hours devoted to making these objects. I think the least that we can do is highlight these anonymous artists efforts and when possible preserve them.

It makes me very happy that you enjoy checking out my blog. The whole reason I do it is to share things we people like you! Thanks Laurel!
