I know! Can you believe I lost both of them? I swear I bid so conservatively these days. Having to put money into a stupid home remodel.! Where are my priorities? I think the evangelist photo sold for $ 36.00 and the Red Cross quilt sold for like $ 21.00. Complete steals. Next time I should just give you a heads up about the auctions and stay out of it altogether! :)
indeed, i have to say on the evangelist photo i'd have crushed you :-) i'm trying to keep my bidding in the land of sanity, but once in awhile i'll go the extra mile for a pic like that one... i can't believe it went for so cheap. photos seem random in general - i have a really amazing cdv of a one man band i paid $150 for (probably the most i've spent on one), and a week or so later i got a better image of the same guy for $26... ebay is totally random at times...
Totally random. Photos aren't my main area of collecting, so I'm going to shoot you a heads up when I see something you may like. Better that you get them, as I know you have a stellar collection going.....:)
