I know very little about this artist, only what the seller provided, but apparently, he was working in the Carmel area of Cailifornia for most of his life.
Here's a description:

Born in Burlingame, CA on Jan. 29, 1914. Williams studied at the CSFA and with Matteo Sandona. He was a resident of San Francisco and active on the Monterey Peninsula in the 1930's. He worked for Foster & Kleiser (billboards) during the 1930s and 1940s in San Francisco and Seattle. After WWII he settled on the Monterey Peninsula and built a studio-home at Cypress Point. He operated the "Shop in a Garden" in Carmel where he created "junk sculpture" made from beach salvage. Williams died in Carmel, CA on Dec. 13, 1997. Exh: Santa Cruz Art League, 1934, 1936; Seattle Museum, 1942; University of Washington, 1943.Joeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13798883246590751721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1557555707557308690.post-11836708974852585052009-12-15T05:43:32.787-08:002009-12-15T05:43:32.787-08:00I love sculputures, and this artists is very good!...I love sculputures, and this artists is very good! :)Stellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02299529317792139347noreply@blogger.com
